This is why most drip-on lubricants state to not ride for 12-24 hours while the carrier evaporates.  
• Clean on the bike: CUBE is wax based, so dirt is not as likely to adhere to your chain as is common with oil based or wet lubes.                                                                                         

CUBE is similar to an orange peel- It feels dry on the outside but under pressure, oil comes out. 

As you ride, oil pushes into the rollers and plates.  The oil in CUBE is the carrier, but instead of just having the carrier evaporate, we utilize it to spread the lubricants into your chain as you pedal.  If we just tried to use standard paraffins, it would not work, but CUBE has about 4-5 times the oil content of typical petroleum based paraffin!    CUBE is not going to provide immediate penetration into all areas of the chain, but it will provide instant reduction in contact friction between the chain and your cassette/crank, which represents around 30% of the total chain friction.
