The holy grail for chain lubrication is full immersion or melt-waxed chains. For this application, we developed SIMPLYFAST for Bikethoug. Though it is not that hard, it requires more effort than most people want to perform. Take off the chain, clean, rinse, immerse into a melted wax, break up the waxed links, and re-install the chain.

CUBE is made with a special blend of waxes and oils that let you rub it onto the chain quickly and easily. While the natural waxes and oils work into the chain without heat, adding heat to the process liquifies CUBE in seconds, so it immediately penetrates your chain's plates and rollers. The result? A silky smooth and whisper quiet drive system that resists mud and water.
The mini-heat gun that is included with this package delivers melt-temperatures in seconds, but features a much smaller nozzle (and a protective guard) which makes it very easy to keep the heat directly on the chain.
CUBE was formulated from the start to be a rub-on, and the Soft Block means you quickly get more wax and lubricants into the chain versus a drip or spray. With the CUBE HOT MELT SYSTEM, all you need to do is apply CUBE, melt, ride!
Without heat we instruct that the application of the wax only on the inside of the chain, as the pressure from the cassette and crank teeth push the lubricant into the chain.
When using the Hot Melt System, we recommend rubbing CUBE on both the inside and outside of the chain (top and bottom, not the sides) to get full penetration into the chain as it liquifies, with the heat gun melting the wax for penetration into the plates and rollers.
If you have previously applied a full immersion base wax to your chain, such as SIMPLYFAST for Bike, CUBE with heat will reactivate the residual base wax, while delivering a freshly waxed chain for up to 250 miles of top performance.
Your CUBE with HEAT GUN package ships with a mini-heat gun, and 4 x 50 gram CUBE wax blocks, which is going to last the average rider a very long time!

Bicycle must be securely supported in a work stand or similar to prevent bike from moving during application. Heat gun produces a small area of very high heat, capable of burning the skin or damaging frame / components if mis-used. User is responsible for the operation of the heat element which requires careful use and adult application.
